Am I crazy you ask?? Quite possibly....
So big, scary, exciting, crazy news......
I have talked with a handful of people (and I think briefly mentioned on here last time) that I've had this weird urge to pick up and move to New York. I've just casually looked at apartments and jobs online, but just didn't think I had the guts to actually pick up and move across the country to a big city all by myself. I joked with a couple of my friends, asking if they would move to New York with me...."Oh, sure" they would say, knowing I was joking. sort of.
So it's come down to this.....
My good friend, Patty, and I have decided that we are going to go to New York City early next year, either late February or early March, and check it out. We aren't going to move there yet.....just visit for a few days and get a feel for what it's all about. Maybe do a little apartment and/or job hunting and just see what happens. If we end up liking it there is a good possibility we will move there. We probably would say, to start out, that we would live there for a year, and see how things go.
So that's my big news. Scary as it is....I think it might end up being a lot of fun. :)
And just as a side note......Yes, I am still obsessed with Wicked. I've watched my dvds I got several times over. I am also currently side-obsessed with the movie Rent. I've never been obsessed with two things at once. It's been interesting. And then Season 2 of Lost comes out on dvd Tuesday, with season 3 starting in a month.....at that point I think I might actually explode. lol

There's some great theatre happening in NY. I'd be jealous that you'd be in the middle of all that! If this turns out to be what you want, go for it...very cool!

Go for it L1!!! I picked up and moved to Florida, so it can be done.
P.S. Save up a crap load of money before you move! Makes it a lot less stressful.

And there is always a place, not far away, where you can go if you need family :)
Oh yeah - you can come here too!

You know...
Amber was literally 6 miles from my house and didn't come and see me ;)
LaRelle - Did you hear Ana Gasteyer from SNL is taking over the Elphaba role on Broadway 10/10?
By Lola, at 6:03 AM
Yes, Kelley, I did hear that the other day. I wouldn't mind seeing her. :)
Nat...I'd miss you guys too!! I would definitely have to come out to visit DL (and my family) hehe
